The
M/V TAZ is a 45-foot aluminum, high speed, diesel, passenger vessel. U.S.
Coast Guard approved and certified to carry 23 passengers, the Taz handles
the waters of Icy Strait and surrounding waters with ease.
Very stable, with large windows and a comfortable
heated interior, it's great for viewing from both inside and outside on the
deck. All this makes our vessel ideal for many services. The TAZ is Alaska
owned and operated.

most famous humpback whale feeding grounds. Icy Straits and the Point Adolphus
areas near Glacier Bay are world famous for the gathering of these gentle
giants. Their unique feeding techniques, acrobatics and vocalizations make
every tour unforgettable.

When
you join us you will have the best opportunity to see Humpback whales and
other marine mammals such as Minke whales, Orcas (killer whales), Steller
Sea Lions, Sea Otters, and Dall and Harbor Porpoises. Bald Eagles, Puffins,
and a wide variety of other sea birds are often observed as well.

We offer 2 daily tours from Gustavus. Whale
watching and wildlife viewing tours- 7 days a week. Custom tours and charters
are also available for larger groups.

KAYAK DROP-OFFS & PICK-UPS!
Specializing
in large groups. Our spacious deck enables the TAZ to easily handle groups
of 12 or more people with boats and gear included!
We maneuver into sheltered areas and either water
drop/ pick-up or use our skiff for shuttling if necessary. Whatever it takes
to get you kayaking!
