Icy Strait
For whale watching at it's very best, we offer morning and afternoon excursions into Icy Strait — Southeast Alaska's fabulous Humpback whale feeding grounds. Pt. Chichagof Island
Giant trees along the shore of Chichagof Island support Bald Eagles' nests, sometimes up to a ton in size, and over eighty kinds of moss hang from tree branches and thickly carpet the forest floor. Brown bears forage on the abundance of berries while offshore our cruising is punctuated by sightings of the spectacular Humpback whale. This most dramatic of wild marine species adds an exclamation point to a rich and rewarding Alaskan adventure.
